Solving youth homelessness requires radical solutions returning resources and decision making to communities and its members. For this year’s Symposium, PSY is looking for sessions that feature such themes as flexible financial assistance, youth advocacy, coalition building, and narrative change and storytelling.

As always, PSY seeks to hear from new and diverse voices in the movement to end youth homelessness (especially those of LGBTQ+ and BIPOC youth), open up spaces for candid conversations, and provide connections and community.

Proposals are due April 30th by 8pm EST!

The Innovation Summit on Youth Advocacy and Direct Cash Transfers exceeded all our expectations and goals. Nearly 500 incredible leaders registered, and the turnout, energy, and community focus on preventing and ending youth homelessness by directly resourcing young people was truly inspiring.

From national funders to state offices of homelessness—and especially young movement leaders—we came together, held space, organized, and reviewed data that reaffirmed what we know: Direct Cash Transfers and Flexible Cash Assistance are effective in preventing and ending youth homelessness.
